Yellow-shaded buds of Rose Tranquility open to large white blooms that emerge cup-shaped and widen into nearly perfect rounds. They cover this robust, almost thornless Shrub Rose, arriving in flushes from summer to fall and broadcasting a light apple scent. Plants show good disease resistance. Grafted.
British rosarian David Austin has bred his exceptional varieties to combine the flower forms and fragrances of Old Roses with the repeat-blooming trait of modern strains. Garden worthy in every respect, they contribute mightily to perennial beds and shrub borders. They also make excellent cut flowers.
