Judith Wooldridge "Mulan" Cymbidium Orchid mericlones have been created in tissue culture lab such that each plant is exactly like the mother plant It is a 2-3 year plant. At this age, the plant will flower within one to two years. The pseudobulb will have developed and the plant will have around two vegetative shoots. These Cymbidium orchids are suitable to be grown in subtropical and temperate regions.

Warm tolerant Cymbidiums do well in sub-tropical climate areas in India. They are different from cool growing Cymbidiums as they do not require a temperature drop in winter to flower and can withstand temperatures as high as 35-38 degrees Celsius.
