Stromanthe Triostar

The triostar, a member of the prayer plant family, folds its leaves up at night and is frequently confused with the calathea plant. Although this plant can produce blooms in the spring when kept outdoors, it is best known for its enormous, colourful leaves, which can be seen both indoors and out. It's a reasonably fast-growing plant, but if it's disturbed, root bound, or doesn't get enough light, it'll get temperamental and slow down.

The complete variegate foliage of the triostar stromanthe (Stromanthe sanguinea) is striking, with brilliant pink colours. It may be grown outside in hot, humid climates, but it thrives indoors and is more usually used as a house plant.

These are 1-year-old and 1 ft of height at the time of delivery.
