Coryphantha Cornifera
Coryphantha Cornifera or He Devil's Claw is a carnivorous cactus plant resembling the common cobra plant. This is a very variable species, normally solitary, rarely sprouting. It has a flat globose to a cylindrical shape, usually growing up to 15 cm in diameter and 12 cm tall, dull olive-green in colour. Margins of flattened stems have longitudinal ridges which have been compared with the serrations of a saw.
If you chance to tread upon it by accident, it is so completely covered with sand or dust that you do not see it at all, and so slight is its odour that if you do detect it you will not identify it as a mushroom. It is mainly known as an ornamental succulent for its inflorescence which is very variable with many different forms found occasionally at the same place where it grows.
These are 1-year-old plants and 8cm in height at the time of delivery.
