The ‘Cupcake’ miniature rose is a charming and award-winning rose variety introduced by Mark Spies in 1981. It is a compact, bushy plant that typically grows to about 12–18 inches tall and wide, making it ideal for containers, small gardens, or balcony displays. The blooms are delicate, double-petaled flowers in soft blush pink, each about 2 inches wide, with a light, sweet fragrance. ‘Cupcake’ is a repeat bloomer, flowering continuously from spring through fall, and its glossy dark green foliage adds to its visual appeal. It thrives in full sun and is hardy in USDA Zones 5–10. Winner of the AARS Miniature Rose Award in 1983, this rose is prized for its classic shape, long blooming season, and ease of care. Whether grown in pots or as a garden border, ‘Cupcake’ adds elegance and charm to any space with minimal maintenance.
