The Madagascar native 'Kalanchoe Fedtschenkoi,' formerly known as 'Bryophyllum fedtschenkoi,' is commonly sold as a house or garden herb. Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi is a frost-tender perennial succulent with pretty flowers and compact foliage that prefers dry, open land. Because of the form and colour of its leaves, it is commonly referred to as ‘Lavender Scallops.'
As an untidy, short, rounded herb, it grows to 10–12 inches (25–30 cm) tall. The stems are round, smooth, and lax, with clear leaf scars, and they often bend and touch the ground, producing roots and new plants. The leaves are fleshy, alternating, blue-green, and oval or obovate with fine scalloped edges. When exposed to direct sunlight or drought, the edges can turn pink or red. It has few pests, but mealybugs and scale insects may be present
All our products are delivered bare root without pot or soil.
