Gorin Nishiki Azalea
Gorin Nishiki azalea is a Japanese azalea variety, a hybridization between Rhododendron indicum and Rhododendron simsii. They are evergreen shrubs with a spreading to rounded form that is compact and low-growing. The leaves are lance-shaped to elliptic and significantly smaller, 1/2 to 2 inches long, than those of other azalea hybrids, making it the wonderful Bonzai plant that it was originally bred to be. Blooming time: February to April
