  • Flower Color and Form: The 'Fanny Ardant' rose showcases large, classically shaped flowers with a soft pink hue, often exhibiting a darker center. The blooms are double, comprising 17 to 25 petals, and measure approximately 10 to 11 cm in diameter. They are typically borne singly on stems, making them excellent for cutting.

  • Fragrance: This variety exudes a light, pleasant fragrance with subtle vanilla notes, adding to its appeal in garden settings.

  • Foliage and Growth Habit: The plant is upright, reaching heights of 80 to 110 cm and spreading 60 to 80 cm wide. It boasts glossy, mid-green foliage that provides a vibrant backdrop to its pastel blooms. The stems are thorny, characteristic of many hybrid tea roses.

Cultivation and Care

  • Flowering Period: 'Fanny Ardant' blooms in flushes from June through September, offering repeated displays of its charming flowers throughout the growing season.

Regular pruning and deadheading will encourage vigorous growth and continuous blooming. While it has good disease resistance, monitoring for pests and diseases is recommended to maintain plant health.
