Tansy is a tall, bushy herb with bright yellow, button-like flowers and fern-like leaves. It has a strong smell and has been used for a long time in gardens and traditional medicine.

• Grows 2 to 4 feet tall

• Has yellow round flowers that bloom in summer

• Leaves are green, feathery, and smell strong

🌞 What it needs:

• Sunlight: Likes full sun but can grow in part shade

• Soil: Grows in most soils, even poor ones

• Water: Doesn’t need much water once it’s grown

🌼 Uses:

• Was used in old times to keep bugs away

• Sometimes used in homemade natural insect sprays

• Not used much for food or medicine today because it can be toxic if eaten too much
