Climbing Begonia
Found in North East India at altitudes up to 1200m, Climbing begonia is a perennial climber. It is not exactly a begonia but a vine having large, decorated, Begonia like leaves. It is a weak perennial climber with a woody base. It leaves are ovate- lance-shaped with heart-shaped base and a pointed tip with margins that are finely toothed or bristly. Its stems are red and hairless. Its flowers are tiny, yellowish on red sepals cul and stalks in small compound umbels that are opposite to its leaves. It also has berries that range from black to reddish- purple.
These are 2-3 ft in height and are 2-year-old plants at the time of delivery.
