Horsetail Bamboo
A non-flowering evergreen perennial, the horsetail or rough horsetail or scouring rush is a skinny, tall ornamental grass. Like ferns, the plant uses spores to reproduce rather than seeds. Native to North America, Europe, and Asia, the plant spreads aggressively if soil barriers are not used. The stems are vertical green with bands horizontal resembling the traits of bamboo.
Resistant to pests and diseases, the plant requires very little maintenance. Ideal for landscapes, it grows fast achieving a full height within a matter of a week provided the area is damp. Even without foliage or flowers, it is considered one of the most unique plants with ease of growing; it could certainly turn heads in the garden.
These are 2-3ft in height and are 2-year-old roses at the time of delivery.
