Red Bird

This compact, spreading azalea is filled with bright (and often fiery) red blooms. Accentuate your patio with cascading blooms that are more than just red; they’re vibrant orange-red accented with maroon blotches. Flowers emerge in April through June, depending on your climate.

**DISCLAIMER**: Azaleas do well in moist, acid (pH 5.5 or so), well-drained soil with lots of organic matter, such as peat, compost, chopped leaves, or ground bark. They won't grow in heavy clay, pure sand, or alkaline soil.
