John Bryant Keene Cymbidium Orchid ( 2 Year Old )
Cymbidium Joan Bryant ‘Keen’ has received an Award of Merit from the American Orchid Society. Its tall flower spikes present bright pink florets that bloom symmetrically around the spike, rather than facing to one side. This gives it a bright and pleasing conical presentation.
Unlike seedlings, mericlones have been created in tissue culture lab such that each plant is exactly like the mother plant. At this age, the plant will flower within one to two years. The pseudobulb will have developed and the plant will have around two vegetative shoots. These are suitable to be grown in subtropical and temperate regions.
This plant is 10+ inches in height during dispatch.
All our Cymbidiums are mericlones produced through tissue culture in our labs. Mericlones are an exact replica of the parent plant, while seedlings, grown from seed, are different from the parent plant.
