Anthurium Scherzerianum (Flamingo Flower)

The Anthurium Scherzerianum is sometimes called the flamingo flower or pig-tail plant. The Pig-Tail Anthurium is becoming increasingly popular as an exotic houseplant. It is similar to Flamingo Flower, but it has a curled spadix like the pig's tail.

These plants are best grown in bright light, but not direct sun. They can be grown outdoors if they are brought indoors when cold weather approaches. If you live in an area where nighttime temperatures don't fall below 50-55F (10-13C) they should be fine left outside. They do not require much fertilizer and should be watered from above once a week.

These are 1-year-old plants and 0.5ft in height at the time of delivery.
