Pink Traviata | Hybrid Tea Rose
The very strong disease resistant, old-fashioned blooms of the Traviata® Pink will have you lingering outside to appreciate the beauty of this outdoor flowering hybrid tea rose. Well-known for its deep pink, old-fashioned flowers, the Traviata® Pink is a classic summer flowering hybrid tea featuring enormous romantic blooms with over 100 petals. 3-4 ft tall and 4-5 ft wide. The glossy dark green leaves provide a beautiful backdrop for the romantic, ruffled flowers. The Pink Traviata will continue to be the centre of attention throughout summer and into late autumn, making it the perfect accent to brighten your outdoor space.
This Hybrid Tea is a mutation of the well-known Traviata® variety. It is one of the most disease-resistant modern roses, just like its parent. The deep pink, an old-fashioned flower is a nice addition to this ever-popular family and is ideal for the garden or as a stunning cut flower in a vase.
This shrub should be grown only in full sunlight. It thrives in average to evenly moist conditions, but it cannot tolerate standing water. It is not picky about soil type or pH. It can tolerate some urban pollution. It grows quickly and can be expected to live for approximately 20 years under ideal conditions.
Note: This is a high-maintenance shrub that will require regular care and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed.
