Mona Lavender
Mona Lavender is a vigorous, rounded, bushy perennial that was developed by crossing two South African Species. The attractive lavender flowers bloom across the plant but it is also well known for the purple-coloured underside of its leaves that make it a one-of-a-kind ornamental plant for any garden.
The plant begins to bloom as days get shorter in autumn and flowers continuously until the end of spring when the days begin to get longer. Almost 9-10 months of flowering time makes it a must-have for any garden. Another unique element of Mona Lavender is that it can withstand the high tropical temperatures of areas like Bangalore or Chennai at the same time is able to withstand light frost.
